2 Years

This picture was taken two years ago; the day we left Disneyland. It was a great trip! And it was magical in more ways than one. The night we arrived in California, I was a little swollen from the trip. I took a diuretic before bed. And I haven't taken one since.

Being in remission for 2 years has been such a blessing. The obvious big one is bringing a healthy baby boy into the world. He is perfect and I can't imagine our family without him. But I've also enjoyed just feeling normal. I live a healthy life and I don't even think about FSGS every day.

I know it may not last forever, and a relapse is possible, if not probable. But for now, I will thank God for my health, pray for my friends who are fighting for theirs, and enjoy every day!
